Uncovering Functionality— 使えるを見つける at PLACE by method
December 4th-14th 2025
’To celebrate the first anniversary of Oku's launch, Kathleen Reilly brings the project back to Japan, sharing its ethos and deepening connections between Eastern and Western cultures. This Tokyo presentation shifts the dialogue by spotlighting British craft, offering a rare opportunity to encounter works firsthand and features a new collaborative film, highlighting items that subtly elevate our day-to-day.
Through a carefully curated selection of designers and makers, Uncovering Functionality reveals the hidden intelligence of objects, encouraging quiet discovery and expanding conversation.’
